A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER

The reason I built this.

A woman with long wavy light brown hair and blue eyes smiling at the camera, standing indoors near colorful stairs.

Because home should feel like a place you can actually live in, not just manage.

I created Tended To after years of building, running, and eventually selling a local service based business here in Maine. That experience taught me how much care, coordination, and attention goes into keeping a home running well.

And as a mom, I understand this on a very personal level.

There is so much invisible work inside a household: the returns that need to be dropped off, the pantry that needs to be reset, the laundry that needs to be folded and put away, the fridge that needs to be restocked, the kids’ clothes that need to be rotated, the birthday gift that needs to be wrapped, the appointment that needs to be scheduled, the random pile that has somehow become a permanent fixture on the counter…It adds up.

Tended To was created for the people — especially busy parents and mothers — who are tired of carrying the entire mental load of the home alone.

This is household management and home support for real life. It is not house cleaning. While light tidying may be part of a visit — things like wiping down counters, resetting a room, doing dishes, folding laundry, or a quick vacuum when needed — the purpose of Tended To is to help with the ongoing tasks, errands, organizing, resets, and behind-the-scenes work that keep your household moving.

My goal is simple: to help your home feel lighter, calmer, and easier to live in.

If you have been wishing someone could come in, see what needs to be done, and help you finally get things off your list, Tended To was built for you.

Let’s talk about your home.
